(c) Shortly after the death of the said George

Ford the said William Keswick paid and discharged all

his debts and funeral and testamentary expenses and

took possession of all his real and personal estate

which consisted chiefly of house and other similar

property at Shanghai aforesaid and at Yokohama in the

Empire of Japan

(d) The said William Keswick during his life

managed and administered the said estate on the footing

that he was a trustee thereof for charitable purposes

in China and Japan and elsewhere in the Far Fast and

he applied the income thereof partly to the maintenance

repair and improvement of the said house and other

property partly in and for the charitable purposes

aforesaid and partly by accumulating the same and

adding such accumulations to the capital of the said

trust estate and at the date of the death of the said

William Keswick the said trust estate consisted of the

Bank shares and property specified in the Schedule

hereto

(a) The said William Keswick by his Will dated

the fifth day of March One thousand nine hundred and

twelve
